Our Journey and Partnerships

  • Rajju Sarpa (Snakes and Ladders),  our research and outreach project, first published in 2014 as a “free-to-download mobile application” is now supported by the Ministry of Education, Indian Knowledge Systems Division.  The game was also chosen as a gift to the sherpas in the Learning and Education Forum of G20.
  • The Qboid, our innovative play compendium, won the Toycathon 2021 in the Social Values category.
  • Curated and commissioned 6 large installations on the different play traditions of India as the play engagement area for Prerna the model school programme under the combined effort of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education.
  • Curated and displayed our private collection as the first “museum of Chaturanga” at The Red Fort as part of the Red Fort Biennale inaugurated by the Prime Minister in 2023.
  • Conducted workshops on play with the support of institutions like the Indian Knowledge  Systems, IGNCA, Chinmaya Mission, CEPT, IIT and Ministry of Education.
  • Partnered with different bodies of the Government of India to curate and commission installations  representing the play traditions of Bharat, including the  46th UNESCO World Committee at Bharat Mandapam.

Established collaborations with artisans to preserve dying craft traditions, bringing contemporary artists and craftspeople together to create unique, culturally significant products.
