Game Objective
Tigers: Capture 5 Goats
Goats: Trap all 4 Tigers so they have no legal moves
How to Play
1. Setup
The 4 Tigers start placed on the 4 corner points of the 5x5 grid.The 20 Goats start off the board.
2. Phase 1: Placement Phase
The Goat player moves first.
Goat Turn:Place one Goat onto any empty intersection point on the board.Goats cannot move across points until all 20 have been entered onto the board.
Tiger Turn:Move one step along a grid line to an adjacent empty point, OR capture a Goat by jumping over it along a line into an empty space directly behind it.Captured Goats are removed from the board.
3. Phase 2: Movement Phase
Once all 20 Goats are on the board, Goats can now slide 1 step along connecting lines to adjacent empty points to defend and close in on the Tigers.
4. Winning the Game
Tigers Win:As soon as they capture 5 Goats.
Goats Win:When they successfully surround and immobilize all 4 Tigers, leaving them with zero valid moves.
