How to Play
1. Setup
Place the 3 Tigers on the top triangular vertices of the board. All 16 Goats start off the board.
2. Phase 1: Goat Entry
The Goat player moves first:
-
Goat Turn: Place one Goat onto any open intersection point on the board. Goats cannot move from point to point until all 16 have been entered.
-
Tiger Turn: Move one step along any connected line to an adjacent empty point, OR hunt a Goat by leaping over it along a line into an empty space directly behind it. Captured Goats are removed from play.
3. Phase 2: Open Movement
After all 16 Goats are placed on the grid, Goats gain the ability to move one step per turn along connecting lines to adjacent empty spaces to form defensive barriers and trap the Tigers.
4. Winning the Game
-
Tigers Win: By capturing all Goats (or rendering blocking impossible).
-
Goats Win: By surrounding and blocking all 3 Tigers so that no tiger can make a legal move on its turn.
